Sustainable Heritage, theme of the European Heritage Days 2022, was the motto for a visit to the thermal waters of Caldas, guided by Professor José Martins de Carvalho (Technical Director of the Thermal Hospital) and Miguel Reis Silva (Coordinator of Aspiring Geopark West)followed by a conversation dedicated to “Water, Essential Heritage”, also with the participation of Samuel Rama, professor at ESAD, and the Councillor of Culture, Conceição Henriques, on September 24. On the same day a Collaboration Protocol was signed between the Municipality and the Aspiring West Geopark, for the development of joint actions aimed at promoting the Territory, within the framework of Caldas da Rainha Creative City.
