MOLDA 2017 occupied Casa dos Barcos with two initiatives. The first, unprecedented, was a presentation of twelve ceramic projects by twelve authors with roots in Caldas da Rainha, either because they are from the region, or because they established their workshops and there, or because they trained and obtained professional qualifications in the city.
In their diversity, the projects of these authors witnessed the current paths of Caldas da Rainha ceramics, their creative vitality, their technical maturity, their solidity in crossing marks of the past with contemporary challenges.

The second initiative featured a retrospective of MOLDA 2016, namely through a re-presentation of the Caldas da Rainha Collection of International Ceramic Design.
