The second edition of the Mostra Mercado da Cerâmica took place in Parque D. Carlos I on June 16, 17 and 18, 2023, beginning with the inauguration of the Collective Exhibition of the ceramists taking part in the Mostra Mercado, at Casa dos Barcos, at 5pm.

This was followed by the opening of the Mostra Mercado, at 6pm, in the Parque das Bicicletas, with the presence of around 30 local potters and artisans and those from the Creative Cities of Barcelos and Covilhã, who also showed their art and know-how live.

The Market Show also featured an Experiment Lab for youngsters to get their hands dirty and spin. Promoted by CENCAL, this space featured two potter’s wheels and a table for molding clay, with free participation and aimed at children and young people.
