A tour about Caldas da Rainha city, was presented to visitors, in its values, challenges and ambitions. Not being a work of history, it contains pertinent information about urban evolution and its heritage built over the centuries. Not being a tourist itinerary, it provides the curious traveler with clues to observe the city and scrutinize its signs and identifying traits.

A guide that combines the wanderings of a historian, João B. Serra, and the gaze of a photographer, João Martins Pereira, both Caldas da Rainha citizens. A tribute to those who built the city and to those who reflect on it, create, anticipate its future.
