The 16th edition of ART & TUR – International Tourism Film Festival took place between 24 and 27 of October in Caldas da Rainha.

During four days of the Festival, Caldas da Rainha Cultural Center and Congress exhibited 82 films, integrated in 10 thematic sessions. The thematic sessions were interspersed by 7 round tables in which experts reflected on current topics addressed in the films shown.

Talk #8, on the penultimate day, was attended by the Councilwoman of Culture, Conceição Henriques and the Head of Culture Unit, José Antunes, who spoke on the theme “Caldas da Rainha, Thermal and Creative City of Crafts and Folk Arts”.

At the Awards Gala, which took place on the last day, the winners of the various competitions were announced, distinguished by the international jury of the Festival. The ART&TUR Festival is an itinerant event in the Central region of Portugal, which this year had a co-organization with the Municipality, and is part of the world network of CIFFT – International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals, which annually elects the best tourism film worldwide, among all the films that run the international circuit of festivals of the genre.
