Luís Manuel Pires

Luís Manuel Pires works very close to the sky where the clouds form the most imaginative alignments, consistent with the elegance of the pieces modeled by the artist. Luís Pires was born on 08/01/1957, and from an early age starts working in clay, has nowadays a truly remarkable quality of work. He won several awards with his work in exhibitions he participated, such as the 2nd Birth Prize in 2000; an honorable mention in Viana de Castelo, as well as several other mentions in Vila Nova de Cerveira, at the International Handicraft Fair, in Vila do Conde, in Paredes de Coura as well as in many more exhibitions.
