Born in Caldas da Rainha.

He began a taste for ceramics from an early age, since his mother was a collaborator of SECLA.

Later, deepened the taste and knowledge, influenced by Umbelina Barros – Artist Caldense. Over the years he has developed his knowledge in the ceramic field, especially in Drains (traditional glazed application technique). They have a special taste for ceramic crystallization.
