Paulo Tuna

Born in Vila Real de Trás os Montes, Paulo Tuna went to work with a reformed blacksmith friend of his grandfather who gave him some light on the technology of the forge.

In 1995 he joined ESAD ,school of arts of Caldas da Rainha where he took the course of Sculpture and Fine Arts.

He is definitely dedicated to sculpture and his technical work in the metal workshops where he gains experience until he decides to go out to dedicate himself to the handmade cutlery and give wings to an old passion .

Today, Paulo Tuna “the bladesmith” is one of the biggest names in the art of cutlery in Portugal, making unique knives timeless and tailored to every corner of the world.
