Francisca Martins graduated in 2021 from the Product Design – Ceramics and Glass programme at ESAD.CR. She undertook several training courses at CENCAL and, in 2025, completed a Master’s degree in Glass and Ceramic Arts and Science at VICARTE.
Francisca has increasingly explored her artistic and sculptural side. In her artistic language, she investigates the concept of ambiguity between the amorphous and the crystalline, starting from the reference of the human figurative as part of a whole down to the smallest existing cell in matter. This body of work is developed mainly in glass and ceramics, applying a range of different production techniques.
