Catarina Fragueiro was born in 1993 on Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal.

In 2017 she graduated in Fine Arts from the School of Arts and Design in Caldas da Rainha, where she currently lives and works.

Her artistic career has centred on exploring the fields of painting and sculpture, and she has collaborated with various artists on projects fundamentally linked to the artistic production of costumes and sets, creative workshops and assisting in the construction and installation of sculptural projects. She paints mostly in oil on canvas, which sometimes diverges into other multi-material explorations.

She does the same when she creates sculpture.
